a random song from my sorority days...
did i really listen to music like this?
"Suburban Life" by the Kottonmouth Kings.
i guess maybe the funky, happy (high) vibe was me then. plus, i was in a house with girls mostly from jew'd up detroit suburbs, cleveland suburbs, north jersey and new york. that's obviously gonna mean lots of popular hip-hop (read: black eyed peas (old stuff?), Dr. Dre, Snoop, Wyclef, Lauryn Hill, the Fugees...); modern hippie music (read: guster, dave matthews, phish, grateful dead, sublime); and all-around-bad (yet sometimes pleasing) soft pop music (read: barenaked ladies, pete yorn, yellowcard, david grey).
(have you noticed that lately I'm just airing out all of my embarrassing secrets?)
